Arlyn and the security team walked with Flint towards a private hangar of the floating platform. With Mister Jax and other Imperial annoyance safely out of the way, they made relatively good time. As they entered the main hangar complex, three heavy water cruisers awaited for their entry. Arlyn took a pair of blasters and tied them to her sides. She unhooked one and pointed at Flint's back.

"One wrong move..." she taunted the silent man.

The team continued to walk until they were onboard one of the three cruisers. Arlyn activated her security comm, "Scramble the sensor frequencies of all ships in orbit. We are making for the Indi-Prison Alpha as classified as possible." The man on the otherside agreed and he began to scramble communications and sensor sweeps of all local and space vessels. Any type of device that could detect them, would be momentarily impared.

The three cruisers launched. It was a long dive until they hit the water and submerged into the oceans of the Mon Calamari. The three cruisers stayed together for a long time, but they began to break away from each other as the water grew darker. The decoys were gone and Arlyn's cruiser was alone, humming in the deep waters as queitly as possible.

Until the man's fate was decided, Flint would stay in a cell deep under water. Little or no help could be rendered to him there and not a single Imperial knew of its location nor the security measures. All they knew was that Mr. Flint was still aboard the floating complex, ready to be moved to a secure location.

Arlyn gazed outside the window, the darkness of the deep water caused her to shiver. She holstered the blaster and rubbed her arms for comfort. The warming thought of a long bath, with peaceful music and the aroma of candles eased her thinking, but it would be another couple of hours before she would be in her quarters. Something told her this was going to be a long day...

The large Mon Calamari water cruiser approached the Indi-Prison. The ship rocked as it made its final docking procedure. Arlyn grabbed Flint's arm and rose him to his feet. She stepped away, wiping her hands against her alliance dress uniform and motioned for him to walk. Flint walked reluctantly with an attitude of annoyance, but he kept going nonetheless.

Arlyn stopped him at the doorway and blindfolded him. Little did he know the bag they just placed over his head, was laced with a type of sleeping agent. He would begin to become drowsy and his movement and foot steps would be impossible to count or memorize.

They entered the prison base, many of the guards nodding to Arlyn in a professional way. She was their Chief, after all.

***

Flint arrived, barely conscience of where he was. Arlyn took off the blind fold and looked Flint in the eye, "Welcome to your new home." The forcefields activated and many other secret security devices. Flint was trapped behind the walls of justice.

Arlyn strode out of the prison cell heading towards the local security Chief's office. She entered with a polite ring. The Mon Calamari was old and after a few pleasantries she had learned he was an old Mon Calamari Knight from the Clone Wars.

"It is an honor to have met with you." Arlyn said with a respected tone. He smiled and asked how he could be of assistance. "I'm merely checking on the security standards. You activated the prison's shield after we arrived?"

"Of course. We have also backlogged on the...sensors...You seem to have not been detected." the large fish eyes bulged with a pride, "You did well."

"Thank you. Please continue to keep our gaurds, in the water and inside this prison, in top condition. Anything unusual, act on it." Arlyn stated then apologized for leaving, she had several private relays she needed to send.

Arlyn was walking out of the Chief's office when the prison shook. Arlyn stabilized her walking, when it shook again. The lights began to flash and sirens wailing. Arlyn looked around carefully until she found a computer access point. She ran activating her access codes. A quarren attack now?! Of all places! Arlyn unhooked both of her blasters and activated the full external defense. She disconnected from the terminal and ran towards the main front, calling into her comm badge. "SECURE FLINT!"

Arlyn's wings ignited in the long hall ways, her wings accelerating her to the top of the facility to where the Mon Calamari were launching a counter attack. A Knight, by the name of Ksallir shouted, "CHARGE!" The legion of Mon Calamari surged forward in their vessels, the shields dropping seconds before they would've crashed.

A single torpedo soared through the open shields and slammed into the prison causing Arlyn to be hit by a falling block. She recovered seconds before hitting the ground, her wings saving her life. She launched into the air and landed near a water speeder. She jumped inside, just as Captain Obvious appeared. "Mi'lady! My piloting skills are superb." but Arlyn activated the engine and surged into the open battlefield.

The Quarren had amassed a large assualt fleet, but it was nothing that Arlyn's security and Alliance military couldn't handle. Apparently, Flint was to be a hostage and a bargaining tool.

***

The battle raged for almost an hour, when finally the defeated Quarren were beginning to retreat. Arlyn called the forces back, allowing the reinforcements to chase down the enemy. The battle tired Thanagarian entered the prison facility once more and walked towards Flint's location. Captain Obvious emerged, his hands waiving around wildly. "Madame! You could have been killed without my support." Arlyn sarcastically apologized as she entered the room to find Flint safe and sound. She sighed.

"Ma'am. Half the security measures you took in place was deactivated. It seems those Quarren targetted the power supply. It will be a day before everything is back on-line." Obvious stated.

This whole time Kyp had been away, he stayed away from the sight of most of the Calamari's. He wasn't one to draw attention to himself, or to the situation of the Quarren attack. Saan had arrived outside the cell block which Flint was in.

Standing next to the main door he could sense Arlyn was back, tired from the battle. Kyp put his hood over his head as he closed his eyes concentrating on the surrounding people and Flint. Anything suspsious from anyone and they'd soon to be staring down his lightsaber.

The short trial proceedings playing back in his head, most of those Imperials were correct, Flint deserved no better than an excution but as a Jedi Kyp couldn't allow it no matter how much he disliked the thought of that scum still being a manace to the Galaxy.

Yoogle felt a disturbance in the Force. It was the odd move of the Quarren that caused him to be a little unnerved, as some may call it. He walked to where his Jedi Apprentice was standing. He nodded in approvement and said, "Fought well, you have Kyp. But our place here, it is not." They needed to be somewhere else, a dark power was rising on Dac, stirring up old hatred.

Yoogle overheard the droid known as Obvious, state that the security measures were down. Not all, but some. Yoogle knew this was the first step in the enemy's plan. Someone was about to take Flint, but who and where was more of the question.

The Quarren did want Flint, but the Force was very vague on Flint's taking. Yoogle turned to Lady Arlyn and said, "Depart my apprentice and I, we must."

Arlyn looked at the Master and nodded, "Very well, Master Yoogle." She knew of the Jedi's future predictions and Yoogle only hoped he was right.

The Master bowed and said, "May the Force be with you." Arlyn returned the phrase and Yoogle turned to Kyp, "Leave at once we must, uncover this dark secret we will."

Kyp lifted his head to look at his master. Flint was safe for now, but master was right in leaving. We couldn't stay here as any force sentive could most likely sense where we are......maybe.

"Yes, let us leave Master." Kyp said letting his death grip on his saber loosen.

The long hours of attempting to fix the sensors and internal security errors, Arlyn's body was beginning to grow limp with exhaustion. Arlyn shook the local chief's hand and bid him farewell. Alliance Security Headquarters had a situation on hand and only she could handle it.

She boarded the shuttle and it launched through the dark waters and back towards the surface.

***

Arlyn entered the hotel, seeing Ryan already holding her bags and supplies. She flashed a weak grin and she wrapped her arm around his waist. Most of it for affection, but her legs were beginning to require support.

They entered an Alliance shuttle, the Dac Security Executive waiving them off. Arlyn had come to respect the man and was sad to see them go. But they had a stop to make, a duty to fulfill. Cartao.

The small subway sped through the cloudy water. The days of storming had turned up sand, corral and debris from the seaground, letting it drift slowly through the water. If anything, it was a navigation hazard.

As Jendob piloted through the water towards the prison that held Flint, Nevin looked towards Salla, who seemed as if she was scared the durasteel walls were going to crush her. It wasn't too much of a stretch, Nevin admitted with a smirk.

Nevin instructed Ams on the section of the prison that was still classified as offline. It had initially been crippled by a Quarren attack, and the storms had only hampered its repair. Crews found great difficulty working delicate instruments as currents and debris pushed and waved them about. It was most fortunate for them. However, getting in was not a problem; Ams had authorization to be there by Organa Solo, while Nevin and Salla were both allowed in the complex. Getting out was the problem. The area of Flint's cell was, as mentioned, not enveloped by the security cameras and taps, but the entrance port was.

Ams said he had something in mind, and Nevin was quite interested to see that. He brought them up into the small pool of water within the docking area and disengaged the engines. With a hopeful, yet slightly guilty, look at Salla, he stood as Ams opened the small canopy.

Salla's hands gripped the railing running along the walls of the small pod as the vehicle broke the surface and came to rest in a pool of water inside the prison facility. She had not said one word since Nevin had explained the whole operation to her. The initial surprise of finding out the mysterious figure had been Antilles gave away to worry about this mission. She didn't know what to think and now she was being drug along with them. To make matters worse, Nevin was working with an Imp. Boy, this sure wasn't gonna look good for the Admiral if this got back to Alliance command.

The canopy to the vehicle was popped open and the occupants began to climb out onto the wet stones of the prison floor. Salla sent a worried glance in Nevin's direction before climbing out of the pod behind him. She pulled her still-wet poncho away from her skin and began to look around.

Somehow, Salla imagined this place was similar to the facility her parents were kept before they were killed. It was dark, damp and it reeked of mold. That wasn't a surprise considering where the place was located. In short, the place gave her chills and she preferred to get far away from here as soon as possible.

"I didn't want to say anything before," she finally spoke in a whisper in Nevin's direction. "But just what do you plan to achieve by doing this? You're just gonna get yourself in trouble. Is that what you want?" She stopped herself and turned her head to look at the Imp to make sure he wasn't listening. This was a private matter between him and her and whatever that Imp did to brainwash Nevin into doing this, she wanted to make sure that didn't happen again.

Nevin pulled himself out of the hatch, then paused to look down at the young woman. “Because I want Flint dead,” he said coldly

“That's not gonna achieve anything...well, doing it like this anyway,” she began to say as Nevin closed the hatch on her and jumped onto the solid platform where Ams was waiting.

With a glance in the Moff’s direction, Nevin walked to the small door that would allow them access into the rest of the facility. He stepped up to the security panel and, taking care that his companion couldn’t see the keys, entered the code number. After the series of monotonous beeping, As the door slid open, Jendob stepped through it determinedly, whispering, “Come on!”

Nevin did follow, but not in the same rushed manner Jendob was. “Nothing to be worried about,” he started calmly. Ams’ sneaking around would probably attract more attention. Gods, and he’s head of Intelligence for the Empire? “We have permission to be here, for now.”

Following the loading of his pistol, Ams slapped it back into its holster and responded, “Heh, it's what's later that I'm worried about.”

Nevin had to restrain himself from retorting, instead muttering something under breath. Up ahead was a security checkpoint, and Ams seemed rushed once again. Antilles guessed killing Flint really was that important to him. He strode to one of the guards, who checked the Admiral’s ID card and confirmed his identity. It had crossed Nevin’s mind, he recalled as he entered the second door, that Ams shouldn’t be seeing the Alliance’s security procedures. However, he dismissed the notion, as there were far more highly secured areas than this prison – surprising, to say the least, but the recent attacks and storms around the facility could have explained it.

When the guards were far behind them and definitely out of an earshot, Ams turned to the younger man and asked, “All right, where is he?”

Nevin ignored the question and continued forward to the location of the cell. There was something else pressing on his mind. “I hope you have a plan for getting out of here.”

“Same way we got in,” Ams retorted.

He was hiding something. “Don't underestimate the Thanagarian,” he instructed in an irony Ams was sure to comment on. “Everyone here knows Flint isn't supposed to leave and they'll blow the sub right out of the water if they see us..”

“You don't need to tell me about underestimating them,” he responded rather predictably. “And I'm not planning on simply walking out with Flint.”

Nevin wouldn’t have guessed that from his simple response before. But, whatever his plan really was, he wouldn’t be stupid enough to kill Flint here, would he? Whatever the answer, Antilles knew what needed to be done. He suddenly stopped and keyed the door. Behind that door, and the forcefield with it, was Unu Flint.

The door slid open and the forcefield deactivated with it. As Ams began to move in some exaggerated manner to dehabilitate Flint, Nevin simply pulled his blaster and stunned the man before he could even react. Leaning against the doorframe as Ams watched the unconscious man, he asked, “then?”

Jendob sighed. “Bloody COMPNOR indoctrination...”

Though at once he would have been proud for his outstanding position in the Commission for the Protection of the New Order, Nevin shuddered at the thought. Though, he always had a little pride in that its Security Bureau section was always better than Intelligence, and that really hadn’t changed. Unless that idiot Shadowstalker had driven it to hell, like Nevin suspected. “Sorry, I don't like the whole "explain-your-plan-as-the-prisoner escapes" idea that Intel follows,” Nevin glared as Ams walked in and pulled Flint’s sagging body to the door. “Now...what's your plan?”

“You've watched too many propaganda holos,” Ams murmured. “and it was to have him walk out under his own power before knocking him out... I guess it's time for Plan Besh...”

No, Nevin had observed the actions of II too much. “You're one to talk...let him drag, maybe he'll scrape off some skin or,” he paused to look over the Unu’s infested body. “Whatever that is...” he finished as he grabbed Flint’s other arm.

“Not just yet,” Jendob instructed. “All right, now.”

Nevin continued on, but hesitantly and suspiciously. What was he doin—BANG!

At that instant, sounds of durasteel exploding occurred, and due to their aquatic setting, echoed throughout the entirety of the station. Nevin stumbled and dropped Flint, hand retrieving his pistol from its holster. So was his default reaction.

“Don't worry about it. Keep moving.” Ams said with cold assurance.

Nevin surprisingly took his word for it and took Flint’s arm again. However, something snapped behind him, and his gaze returned to see an electrical conduit exploding and emptying massive amounts of water into the corridor just behind them. “I say it's something to worry about!”

Ams picked up the slack on Flint’s body so that they could carry him faster. “Afraid of a little water, Nev?”

Nevin also took more of Flint’s weight, pulling the man’s arm around his back. “No, but maybe a planetsworth!” He yelled as they began to move faster.

The water almost chased after them, easily matching their pace and covering the floor with about ten centimeters of water. However, it was quickly getting taller. Very quickly. As they ran past the flooding security checkpoint, now devoid of guards, Ams quipped with a smirk, “Do you think we'll need another check?”

Although he would have liked to resist it, Nevin had to smirk. Just this once. Still, he didn’t have time to respond, as more water prompted them to run even faster, dragging Flint’s limp body behind them. It was getting worse and worse, now up to about twenty-five centimeters. As if the gods wanted to torture them, the sound of another conduit exploding was heard in the distance, as well as a few impassioned cries of guards.

Thirty-five centimeters.

Fortunately, the submarine was now just at their feet. Pulling open the hatch, Ams saw Salla sitting there. “Hello, Lieutenant. Please step away from the controls.”

“Oh, stuff it, you stiff-necked mynock,” she growled at him as Nevin shoved Flint’s body into the submarine. She then turned to look at the young man, glaring. “Nevin, no! How do you expect to escape?!”

…at this moment, Nevin began wondering why in the seven hells did she want to be a part of this? “Taken care of. Strap in!” Ams instructed as he activated the submarine.

“And haven't you learned by now I don't trust you?” She said in response to him.

“I figured as much.”

The water was almost starting to flow into the small capsule. Nevin dived forward into the vehicle as the hatch slammed shut behind him.

With Nevin finally inside the sub, everyone was accounted for. And it seemed Lieutenant Vivek had grown a spine since our last encounter. Unfortunately, she also grew a tongue.
Setting aside my mild annoyance with the blonde's attempts at wit as well as the ysalamiri-containing backpack, I closed the main hatch as the water level approached the height of the opening. And having just worked through an Alliance prison block unscathed, I had no desire to drown, especially not with the present company. Flint would die, but I wasn't going with him.
Turning my attention back to the control panel, I released the last few docking clamps and moorings. Suddenly, I felt a warm blast of air on my neck as someone grabbed the back of the navigator's seat. "I hope you get jail time for this."
Vivek's voice was unmistakable. And her literally breathing down my neck was quite annoying, to my surprise. After all, she was a fairly attractive lady (though the ten-year age difference between us certainly tempered any kind of attraction), but her nearness, bordering on intimate quarters, was highly uncomfortable.
I must be getting too used to married life. Then again, compared to Shayera, the lieutenant was a bulk freighter to Shy's Nubian cruiser.
Smirking inwardly at that thought (though I doubted Shayera would appreciate being compared to starship, which, however graceful and powerful in form and function, still weighed around a thousand tons... not a wise comparison in her current physical condition), I throttled up the submarine's propulsion units and we tore away at full speed.
Behind me, Vivek growled in frustration. "Sure, go ahead, ignore me! Everyone else does!" She slammed her hand on the back of the chair, and I was tempted to roll the submersible sharply just to knock her flat on her simpering behind.
However, I decided against it as Nevin's footsteps grew close and he sat in another cockpit seat. I threw back a glance, and saw him gazing out the viewport, to his companion's irritation.
"I can't believe you."
"Shut up a minute," he barked, studying the vista ahead. The normally clear water was occasionally lit up with flashes of red, green, and saffron light. Analysis of the attack patterns of the Quarren, as well as some direct contact with them, had proved flawless. They were right on schedule.
"What's goin' on out there?" I heard Nevin ponder. However, a second later, a small group of Quarren swam into view and leveled their weapons at the ship. This was not a combat vessel in any fashion; their weapons would slice right through the hull and kill us all. Acting quickly, I blew all of the air from the portside ballast tank and flooded it while forcing the water from starboard, rolling the craft onto its side. At the same time, I yanked the rudder hard to starboard while reversing the starboard propulsion drive, throwing us into a steep, rapid climb. Through the hull, the discharge of their missed shots could be heard.
"An attack?" Nevin demanded, teeth grinding.
"Looks like it," I said calmly, activating the reballasting controls and throttling the starboard back up to full, levelling out our path.
"You knew," the admiral accused.
"I had suspicions."
"You bastard," Vivek was heard to say. She certainly had become more colorful since her interrogation.
"Now, now, Lieutenant. Nobody likes a backseat driver," I replied.
"I thought I told you to stuff it," she retorted.
Tart.
"So," Nevin began, slowly collecting himself. "You'd risk this entire attempt on a 'suspicion'?"
I shrugged in my seat. "Wouldn't be the first time." I paused. "Now, the question is, what to do with you two."
As soon as the words left my mouth I knew I could've worded it better. Nevin's angry, coldly threatening reply confirmed that.
"The answer is nothing, or your body is gonna join Flint's back there."
"I meant where to take you so you aren't implicated."
"The best place to go is where everyone suspects to find you... if they knew I was in on this. Popping up right away wouldn't look good anyway," he explained.
He has a point, I thought as the surface grew nearer. Within minutes, we had reached the landing pad. Shayera and Jade were aboard the shuttle, and the two Alliance officers and I dragged Flint's inert form up the boarding ramp. He was secured with heavy restraints, as well as an Ysalamiri to prevent him from using any Force-based powers. As Nevin came aboard and saw the creature, his complexion changed slightly, and he blinked twice, then took a seat. With one of the biggest threats to the Galaxy known now secure, sedated, and restrained, the shuttle raced to the Prestige's docking bay.

Ams, Shayera, Mara, Flint, Nevin, and Salla are on the Prestige. Flint is stunned, restrained, and sedated.
